How did I
get here?
Rooted in the peaceful countryside of Cabreúva, São Paulo, I was brought up amidst the simple pleasures of rural life, from climbing trees to swimming in rivers. My parents, a caring dentist and a dedicated physiotherapist, ingrained in me a sense of affection and a strong work ethic from early on. The spirit of exploration was ever-present in our family, with our annual trips nurturing a deep-seated curiosity and a broadened perspective that continue to shape my worldview.
At home, beyond just family recipes, I discovered a love for cooking, mastering the art of creating delectable pasta, bread, and pizza. These culinary adventures became more than a hobby; they have brought joy to family and friends, an aspect of my life that is as fulfilling now as it was then.
My teenage years were underscored by the strumming of guitar strings, igniting a passion for music that would later illuminate university stages. As the frontman of my band, music became a medium of connection, uniting me with audiences in moments of unbridled joy.
A childhood fascination with technology saw me emerge as the family’s “tech whiz,” a role that evolved naturally into a vocation. A seamless melding of informatics studies in high school with a university degree in computer science catalyzed my personal and professional growth. Leadership, political discourse, and liberty activism became cornerstones of my formative years.
My academic pursuits extended across borders to esteemed institutions like the University of Georgia and the Illinois Institute of Technology, culminating in a final round appearance at the Data Science Game in Paris. Representing my university on this global stage allowed me to engage with some of the world’s foremost innovators. Subsequently, I attended Georgetown University’s Global Competitiveness Leadership program, an executive education course that assembled leaders from across Latin America, further honing my leadership acumen.
In my professional transition, Portal do Trader was a seminal chapter. I ascended from intern to Tech Lead, refining my full-stack development skills and playing a pivotal role in creating a robust e-learning platform. Alongside my professional journey, my activism in the cause of liberty burgeoned at Students For Liberty, reaching a zenith with my role in organizing LibertyCon Brasil, a forum for liberal thought and change-makers.
